Anybody else having issues with the blind spot warning lights in the mirrors coming on way too late or erratically? At speeds below 30mph the warning light is supposed to activate when the overtaking vehice is 13 feet from rear of the Maverick and at speeds over 30 mph the light should activate when approaching vehicle is 59 feet or closer to the rear of the Maverick....according to Ford.com and the owners manual.
On my '23 2.0 EcoBoost Maverick the warning lights don't activate until the overtaking vehicle nearly at the back bumper or past it. It sometimes doesn't come on at all! Service manager at dealer drove my Maverick and agreed that the 360 CoPilot BLIS wasn't functioning properly. However at scan didn't show any issues. The dealer left the warranty service ticket open and said they would contact Ford about the issue. After not hearing nothing for 2 weeks, I called the dealer and was told the service ticket was closed becasue the BLIS system was functioning properly.
Anybody have similar issues? suggestions on how to get the problem resolved?
