2025 Maverick Hybrid XLT, 6 months of ownership tomorrow. 3788 miles. No worries, so far. 40 mpg average. The mind and hand of man could not have engineered a more perfect vehicle for me. It has everything I need and nothing I don't. The perfect Boomer Utility Vehicle.

Forums are to bond over your purchase or bitch about issues. All forums are the same. This is a good one because most of us really wanted what we bought and understand "shit happens". If you go to a Porsche or MB forum you will see the same dialog. Early generations have issues, especially ones that were done in 24 months. Alot of recalls are related to software(new generation of cars) or faulty parts supplied by outside vendors. It really comes down to how the manufacturer handles these issues that garners customer satisfaction. Also the dealer interface is the critical link.
Always pick a reputable dealer who has been selling the brand for a while. They will hire people that care about the customer and the brand.
