I have a 2025 Hybrid and I notice along the bottom side and the bottom of the rear bumper it is black plastic. I sometimes drive on rural roads - dirt/gravel. I noticed it was a light brown colour from the wet road and I washed the truck. Everything came off the painted surfaces but the plastic still had the brown coating. I used a brush, along with soap and rinse but when it dried, the dirt colouring was still there.

Before I get down and take a scrub brush and elbow grease to it, any tips on a better way to clean it or, is it something I need to get used to due to the material?

Thank you

Same problem when you wax your Mav. I used a white paste wax. Got some on the black plastic trim. I could not get it off.

I have had great luck with Chemical Guys VRP on the black plastic trim, really on any plastic trim. I use their multi-use cleaner first and then the VRP. Great results.

That's about the only thing I don't like about the Mavericks. I took it Through the Car Wash on Sunday and some of the dirt was still showing on the plastic. I used Tire Shine on the Foam Tire Applicator I have on the Plastic and now it looks great. I did buy a can of Stoners Trim Shine for Plastic and Vinyl Monday at Lowes but haven't tried it yet.
