What I am finding is the coils are binding. They are bound up towards the top of the coils and the weight of the truck is allowing the coils to hit each other. on top of that they are just a smidge short. do not even need a spring compressor to isntall them.Just did the H&R install on my 22, I agree with your post they are noisy. Wondering if a stiffer shock was used if that would mitigate some clanging
I was able to lessen the noise by installing some coil spring isolators. Used two per side. Wrap the second coil, skip the next and wrap the third.
