Spent $680 total on this build. Wheel covers $66 stripes 175. Bed liner$86 rolled in. Window tint $40 chrome trim $80 Maverick letters on tailgate $30. Spray undercoat for fender wells $30. Rest was miscellaneous

Like you, I'm not a big fan of the steelies. Will do something similar with my XL if it arrives - I mean when it arrives :)

Was just considering painting them black but your caps look much better IMHO. There are a lot of wheel cover options out on Amazon to Ebay motors to pick from.

Wheel covers are from pilot automotive model is 18-in Spyder get them on amazon.com
hey Michael. Just wondering if your wheel covers are staying on ??? My Maverick is finally being built . Its an XL and i was just going to try the wheel covesr untill i decide on some aluminum wheels. But the reviews on the pilots .the biggest complaints are the covers come off. Not a snug enough fit.

I have the same truck on order, the wheel covers are an option, I've seen the wheels painted black, white, area51 , has anyone painted them a darker gray ? Possibly gun metal gray, just a little darker than they come to provide contrast. Trying to keep it low cost like yours.
