So today after running some errands started the truck and the center display was blank...no radio...no back-up camera...no indication of temperature or interior fan changes.

Shut the ignition off and restarted the truck. Nothing.

After arriving home I dug out the manual to look up the fuses. On a whim restarted the truck and center display was fine...everything working the way it should. Made another trip and parked the truck in the driveway.

Went out after a couple of hours to put the truck in the garage. Display did not come up immediately...backed up a bit...no back-up camera...after about 30 seconds the Ford logo came up as I was pulling into the garage. Everything normal.

Any ideas about the cause??

The truck's system was reset last Friday to cure the grabby brake issue when the replaced the exhaust system for the CEL problem.

Hey there. I can look into your Maverick’s display concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

I read on this forum about resetting the screen. Maybe do a search and it will pop up

Hold the power button and skip on the infotainment. It will reset it and usually resolves issues like this. Also make sure your software is up to date for the infotainment.

I had this issue and it was the harness wasn't seated in the radio controller.. The harness is behind the hvac controls. I pulled mine out and reinserted it until it clicked. I haven't had any issues since.
