Last night when I inserted the key into my 2024 Maverick XLT/FX4 Ecoboost, the center display said "Depress Clutch to Start Engine" (as I remember it).
Don't I wish! A sign of the future, a manual Maverick? That was required on my 1996 Mustang, perhaps they were having digital intercourse?
I have owned 20 Ford cars in my licenced life. And when I purchased this Maverick, it was the first time in 63 years that I did not have at least one Manual transmission car! (traded in the Mustang on the Maverick). Anyone else see this message? What is lurking in the digital bits hidden in the dash?
