Cactus Grey 2023 maverick hybrid XLT

My friend and I signed up for the exact 2023 Maverick hybrid XLT in cactus grey with only three options, rear window, tow hitch and 360 c0-pilot. We chatted and he decided he will not purchase his maverick. I told him it is a mistake. the total price is $24,5xx for the XLT hybrid plus the options and sales tax. it works out to be around $28,xxx to $29,xxx. This is an estimate with no mark up. Does anyone know if he wishes to sell his position for $2,000 on top of the actual price? I know the dealership will sell it if he does not buy it. The vehicle is located in Northern California.

It is ready for pick up between 7th and 13th of January.

No one knows but him... Is he selling the vehicle and if so, for 2k over total costs? I do not know what you mean by "position". He cannot sell his order or his place in line to another private buyer before he takes receipt of the vehicle, if that is what you are asking. ??????

You placed the order under a name, the dealer will try everything to adhere him to that, to force him not to buy it, so why would they allow any person into the equation. The dealers will make so much more with people like your friend...
