No I have the switchblade key, might be your maverick only no one else is having that issue.

Possibly. Is your lock cylinder set back into the column about 1/2" with a rubber grommet around it? Not flush with the column plastics. Mine is set back, not flush with the column plastics.

See how the key has to stuff itself down inside the rubber grommet about 1/2". Notice how close it is to the rubber. It's a pretty tight fit. If yours is the ssme as mine, and I cant see why mine would be the only odd duck here. Nothing will work on these keys unless it fits tightly against the fob, and closely mimics its shape.

Our keys are different in size slightly, mine is a tad bit thinner. I’m not to worried about it, I just liked the look of it so if it doesn’t fit I won’t be mad about it.

fits nicely there is a little friction with the rubber around the ignition but i imagine overtime the leather wear will fix that.
