Built two days into production? Really?

I had a 2/3 production date, which was silently changed to 2/17.

Logging in today, it shows 2/18 for in production, and 2/19 for built.

Really? I'll take it if true, sure.

And on the modules page, it shows several dozen of BCE modules, but no PCM.

Now, I'm fine with not getting PCM errors, as I currently have on both an F-150 and a Deville, but . . .

Hmm, and 2/18 was a tuesday, but the first day of the week for anyplace observing President's Day. But I suppose finishing on 2/19 means it's not a "Monday car", doesn't it?

I'm pretty certain they don't observe presidents day at the Mexico plant where the Maverick is built.

To add to this; as someone who's worked in aircraft manufacturing for 17 years now, it doesn't matter what day it's built. People who don't give a dang about the quality of their work do a crap job every day of the week, not just on Mondays and Fridays.

I've seen the processes of assembly operations quite a bit and the whole thing is so streamlined, you're far behind the actual vehicle with those notifications. Generally, it's close. As detailed here on the forum and YouTube the process is very fast, faster than UAW plants. Not knocking UAW plants by any means that's just the truth. It's been a minute but a Maverick can be start to finish in 12-20 hours depending. There are times when the vehicle could have downtime due to body/paint issues when it first kicks off which can delay things a little. Also once it rolls off the line if it needs something extra it will go to a mod shop post-assembly for things like accessories. This is where the customer starts to see the status as "in production" for an extended period. Built doesn't officially hit what you see until it's completely checked off and nobody is poking around in it anymore. I do wish Ford could update this a little bit. Ever since the Bronco I have never seen so much deep dive into every step of the way and Ford does actually have these details to give. It goes into much more detail about what the main status like "In Production" means as there is sub-status's that go with it. Basically what Ford can see is: In Production - Released to Body Company. I think people like us, enthusiasts, would appreciate that level of perspective into their vehicle. At the same time I do think some of us would get more crazed trying to overthink every status lol. Excitement is wonderful

The more details they show us, the more questions someone has to answer about the details (and the more places something can go wrong in the back-end communication channels, syncing data between multiple systems). Ford has no incentive to do that, unless...
