I would like to install my WeBoost Cel antenna, as well as a dual band ham antenna, on TopGun. I've seen an attachment installed, where the rear cargo light is, that accepts two NMO connectors and other variations from other vendors that accomplish this by coming in through that mount. Quite expensive. Has anyone installed an external antenna on their Mav yet and, if so, how did you bring the coax into the cabin. Would like the antenna to be removable so can go through automated car wash without problems. Let the fun begin!

Trunk lid mount on the hood. There is a rubber grommet on the driver side of the firewall that you can easily pass coax through. Do a search on the forum here and you can find a bunch of examples/pics of people using this grommet to get cabling/wires into the cabin (I didn't take a picture of mine).

I am currently using the grommet to feed the wires for the battery, tender and the breakaway switch in my towing set up, so I am familiar with it.

I think for the dual band I will use a through the glass to make things easy.

My question is on the Weboost which currently has the option of a small, magnetic mount or the big one that could well be used with the mount that you showed and set it up on the hood.

It would have the advantage that it can be easily removed for car wash. The magnetic mount one could also be mounted on the hood bringing the cable through the grommet. For the car wash, I could always open the hood and put it somewhere inside the engine compartment.

Maybe someone has another idea?
