Hi. We are new to the site, and we are getting ready to order a new XLT/FX4/4k tow Maverick. I will be adding a few things like the hood scoop and fender flares from the factory. The plan is to make the rig into a small backcountry adventure rig for us to tow our camper and go exploring. We will be adding the eibach lift springs, 255 tires, new rims, various cargo management in the back, a softtopper and hopefully an overland rack over the topper if we can. We will be adding some auxbeam forward lighting and the "raptor" grill also.

The maverick has piqued my interest since it was announced and now after talking to a couple of owners, we are in agreement (the wifey and I) that it will be our next adventure rig.

thanks for the welcomes! Stay tuned. I am placing our order soon as it is a 6 to 8 month lead time. As soon as it's ordered I will be buying all the accessories, goodies etc so that we can have it all added to the financing on the truck and the dealer can install it all and we can just start rolling!
