Hi all, quick question for anyone purchasing or that purchased a Hybrid Maverick in Ontario or any area of cold climate for that matter, I ordered my Maverick Hybrid back in August of 2023, but I hadn't ordered the block heater, the dealer said I don't really need one in Ontario, its more for super cold areas he said, so I did pass on it. I still have the option of changing my mind since I still have not been assigned a Vin#, any views or opinions on the block heater or experience with one. I'm wondering if I made the right decision living in Ontario and not ordering this with my Mav hybrid, p.s does it affect anything else on the Maverick negatively by having one installed by the factory? appreciate any feed back in advance thank you
It is nearly impossible to add after the fact IN THIS VEHICLE.

So have it factory installed or never.

The truck will probably start in -25 without it. But, you and the truck will be more comfortable with it. You'll have warm oil and warm air to the vents in about 1 minute based on my experience in an Escape Hybrid in Minnesota winter. -20 one day, -10 a few days.

Man, we're expecting -20 (C) and lower in the next few days here in eastern WA. Do I wish I had a block heater now that I've read this thread.
