Black on Grey Letters

Did a lot of head scratching over what color to use as inserts in the tail gate of my '25 Lariat. Could not decide between black and red so I called in the Commander in Chief. Took her about a second to offer her opinion; stick with the black-out color scheme. So, being a loyal second-in-command, I saluted smartly and ordered the black letters. Have to say, she's got a great eye for color combinations. Arrived yesterday and they went on this morning. I'm liking the look.

Looks good; good contrast. Good looing garage also. Wish mine was that well kept!! In fact, I wish I had more than a car port!!

Looks great. Here’s what the red looks like. I also added a couple other trim details. Can’t take credit though, someone else on the forum posted similar pics and I really liked how the red looks (so I copied him!).

My Tremor is Hot Pepper Red, I haven't decided if I order the glossy black or the matte black letters...

I went with the "carbon fiber" letters. Similar look, dark letters over Grey. "Our" Maverick is really her Maverick. She wasn't keen on having any customization, but I kept it subtle with the lettering. I added door sill protectors and a folding tonneau cover. She really liked that touch.
