Big trailer small truck

I was asked to help someone move and they had borrowed a trailer. It was bigger that expected so I only loaded it half full of household goods. It towed fine with my 2024 LXT 4x4 with 4k tow package. The gas mileage was poor though even when towing empty. I realized I could park my truck inside this monster trailer.

What is the weight of the trailer empty? Also the surface area of the front of the trailer is another factor to consider...

Owner's manual and many posts have considerations for towing besides simply gross weight. As mentioned, frontal area of the trailer is among them. But if you kept your speed down and it wasn't a long distance, you probably were not hurting anything. And you did a good deed for your friend. That's the trouble. When people know you own a truck, they look over wistfully and see opportunity...

looks like an 18 foot trailer, 2 x 3,500 lb axles, so 7000 gvwr and 3,000 lbs empty?
I’m betting the Mav would handle it fine up to 5k lbs, but I wouldn’t want to pull it hundreds of miles at freeways speeds.
