Bedrail height- Ranger vs F150

Does anyone know how bed-rail heights compare? Both externally (height from ground) and internally (bed floor to rail) I can't seem to find any metrics online. Both RWD models only. My service guy is open to a small pickup with a cap, but I swear the small pickups look just as high or higher than a full size anymore. The reach-over into the bed from the side is the main issue. A full size is hard to reach into.

I would look at youtube comparison videos. I swear I have seen the two like that. All new mid and full sized trucks are a pain in the ass to get into the bed. The maverick is not. Its exactly like 80s and 90s ranger height. The bed isnt super deep but its not the shallowest. I remember tacomas in the 90s were super shallow.
