Bed rug

I’m sold on the Bedrug. I think it’s gonna be great for my needs. Hauling some stuff/using the truck for car camping trips. I like the idea of a little cushion whilst climbing in and out. My only hiccup is the sides. I would like some protection for the sides but the full box Bedrug doesn’t have cut outs for the cubbies. I like the looks of the DIPL but the Bedrug won’t work on top of the drop in. I don’t know if I omit the bottom part of the drop in if I can properly secure the rest of the drop in (sides and bull head)and if the Bedrug will cause the sides and bulk head pieces to not fit because of differences in thickness. Any thoughts?

I'm contemplating if I should just "screw" the beg rug down, or get different / additional double sided tape. Love the product. Just off the shelf velcro does not stick to bed liner.

Bought one and sent it back. Does not at all seem durable to me. OrderEd a bed mat from Ford to cover the SIBL.
