I spent last week in The Villages, FLA visiting family. Every day I had to be tortured watching this hybrid XL zip around with the occupant measuring the height of everyone's grass, issuing fines for noise in excess of 55dB and checking the Pantone(r) variation of taupe garage paints. It was torture. Still waiting on some signal for my XLT hybrid lux and I had to see this beauty being used for enforcement and not play.

This thing was barebones. complete and total base XL hybrid. Not even a drop in liner. I actually wish I had taken a photo of the bed as it was clearly used to move dirt/stone around and was scratched up pretty badly.

Some emergency lights are installed behind the cab, drilled into the bed rails. I should have taken some photos and checked how the lights were connected in to the system, but I was just too excited to see a hybrid on the road. I didn't get the chance to speak to the operator as it was parked for the holidays, but I bet the mpg is pretty good given it's used in a role that has a lot of stop/start.

Here it is beside its bigger 150 sister.
