Took me awhile to figure out what “BAP” meant. A lot of owners seem to lust after having as much black on their trucks as possible which I don’t understand. Just like I don’t understand why even major college football teams think they need to wear black unis at least once a season and have a “Blackout” no matter what the real school colors are.
As far as I can tell the love of black seem to be a thing with younger people. Maybe that’s because I’m old. Even when I was younger, however, you couldn’t have given me a black vehicle cuz they are impossible to keep clean and in the summer the get a lot hotter than light colored vehicles.
When I was in high school a loooog time ago, our school colors were gold and black. We didn’t even like black then.
IMO when a rig is black ( or white) and has black rims and black trim, it has no character.
Again , my opinion is probably biased because I’m old. But I don’t think black has any soul and I certainly wouldn’t spend extra for it.
