I have the bak revolver x4ts on my 2024 maverick XLT and i've been trying to diagnose and solve the leaking that comes in from both front corners where the bed and cab meet. I know since it's a unibody that some leaking is to be expected, but this leaking seems like more than what should be expected. As I started to check out the corners and pull the flaps back a bit I'm noticing a difference from the right and left side flap lengths. You can see the pictures of the side flap lengths and the right side corner (when facing the back of the truck) seems like it should extend more and was maybe cut too short. There's also a noticeable more amount that I can lift the flap up on that side, making it seem like the glue has come undone a bit or have been cut. Also I have used some black silicone for those cap gaps and a little in the corner underneath the rails. I did that before putting the rails/cover on.
Anyone else with this cover on have leaking issues resolved in these corners?
These are the spots where the leaking is coming from. I've seen differing opinions on if that rubber flap that spans the front should be tucked down or turned up, but so far I have only had mine tucked down.
Below is the left side corner. Notice where the red arrow is pointing that smaller flap is basically flush up against the rail. Then where the blue arrow/line is those are still glued together to an extent, but also look like they've been ripped/cut a little:
Below is the right side. Notice the red circled area the gap between that flap and the rail is wide. Compare that to the left side where the flap was nearly flush with the rail. Then the blue circle is where I can noticeably lift the rubber flap up a lot more making it seem like it's been cut or it wasn't glued down well. Is anyone else with this cover seeing similar things?
