I had a trailer hitch in my receiver, and when backing out of the driveway the truck would have some sort of brake engage and it stopped about 5 times berfore I got out of the driveway. Is there any way to disconnect this feature?

Could be the parking sensors going crazy with the hitch.
Could be some sort of trailering assist feature.
Could be an E brake issues.
