I know there are a lot us from August waiting on our trucks to ship, figured I would share the latest information I got from ford chat.
Build date was August 26th esimated arrival September 10-16th obviously that came and went.
New update is that its scheduled to be shipped October 25th with no eta.
I'm Nor-Cal I hope those in the Midwest and East Coast get faster shipping times.
Me too . Built Aug 31st with an original ETA of sept 22 - sept 28. tracker still says- awaiting shipping. Today on ford chat they said now its been delayed untill Oct 22nd. Which will be one year from order date. Getting tired of all this waiting. Original build date was july 8th.

I just contacted chat this afternoon. Same story as others recently. Pushed back with a new ETA of Oct. 22. Build date of Aug. 25.

At least it's an update. All the way through this past week, my ETA was still stuck between Sep. 9 and 15, which obviously we were way past it by then.

So is it possible that the air bag recall is holding some of these trucks from being shipped? Specifically, the ones built between 8/25 and 9/1. Seen several folks who's trucks were built between those dates still awaiting shipping, including mine built on 8/30. Do we know if good airbags are now being installed in the newly built mavericks? Heard of many of the more recent ones getting shipped and delivered already.

Over on some of the facebook Maverick groups. there are people getting their Mavericks built and shipped and delivered all in september. While some of us built in late August are still not even shipped and now pushed back to Oct 22nd. I still wonder if its not the railines possible strike slowed some railways down to the point where they are a month behind now. Ford chat told me it was shipping issues holding up my delivery.

That would make sense for my order being sent back to the plant, you would think however more people would have the same status if it was a recall.

Could these delays be from the being built and waiting on chips?

No one is going to know for sure, but I don't think its due to chips as the trucks were all sent to the rail yard.

I don't believe it's a chip issue. TripplePlay mentioned the air bags, that could be a possibility. I thought those only affected builds up to Aug. 8 or something like that. I'd have to do some digging. But you never know, maybe a lot of those bad airbags got into the rotation that week?

I hope it's not because we're missing the Ford badge in the grille 😂

I'm in OK and mine has been in transit for almost a month...I am just getting impatient lol (ETA 24-30 September)
Mine made it to OKC rail yard and then my dealer went and got it so it wouldn't sit there for 2 weeks before a truck could pick it up. That sped up the delivery probably by several weeks. I live 2 hours West of OKC.
