Are the lastfit bulbs able too…

Look like this if you mod them like the original bulbs? I have seen if you cut one of the metal terminals on the bulb it will only light up the bulb during breaking with the lights on. Not sure if the lastfit bulbs will work if this mod is done to them. Obviously I could try it but i didn’t want to try it if someone already did and it didn’t work. Thanks

If the original bulbs were dual filament I'd imagine the replacements are too. The small strips are not very bright. Greatly reducing others' ability to see you sounds like a bad idea.
