I have run into 2 persistent problems with the touchscreen system:

1) freezing up -- this has happened fairly frequently; it has been most frustrating mid-trip, especially using map/GPS and you are needing it to work precisely and accurately heading to a destination.

2) not able to access regular radio when Aux is plugged in. This has been the greatest and most frequent problem - and it is obviously not a driving safety feature prohibiting it but a programming design flaw. When you plug the phone in the Aux (even if bluetooth connection is still on - or even when its off) the apps come up, which is fine. But if you need to hear a local AM radio program or FM station, you can exit all the apps to the basic screen features and cannot reach the audio square to access either radio options. Very frustrating. Needs an update/fix badly to correct that so you can freely access any and all features on the touchscreen whether from the phone or car itself.

Are you referring to a USB connection as AUX?
My last vehicle had a 3.5mm AUX port for analog audio, but I don't think the Maverick has one.

you should be able to exit your phone apps screen and get to the radio and select which one you want audio from. Ill see if i can get in a maverick today or tomorrow and demonstrate how to do so in a short for you.

Yes. You can use either USB or USB-C on it. I usually use the USB-C. It all connects fine but the user maneuverability on it is not that good at all.

No problems here except if I'm listening to my MP3s on my thumb drive and I don't shut the audio off before shutting the ignition off, it doesn't remember where it left off and starts the next time on a random radio station.

I just started having the freezing issue. It either freezes or lags horribly!! This was the only thread I could find with someone having the same issue. Was hoping for an answer but I guess it's not common, bummer.

The only issue I have is random disconnects even when it's directly plugged in. Very annoying. Sometimes it will go months without an issue and then a couple days in a row it's just constant.
