Aftermarket Wireless Bluetooth?

Has anyone successfully set up an aftermarket Bluetooth unit for the wired connection... like a wireless unit that plugs into the wired USB port?
I've tried 2 products now and both do the same thing... they cycle through connected and disconnected over and over.

Been using this guy for wireless CarPlay several months now without issues.
