After 26 months, my replacement airbags finally came in

Between being back ordered, whatever ransomware attack crippled all sorts of car dealers, and apparently a fair bit of turnover at my local parts department, I’ve finally been notified that my replacement side curtain airbags have arrived at the shop. I think the recall was originally published in August of ‘22.

Anybody else here run into the same issue?

As a side note: You think Ford is still sending out those Yeti cups to customers that get this done, or should I send some emails requesting an entire cooler because of the wait?

I'd say at least a half dozen times or so. I'd ask at oil changes, and then the past 6 months or so I'd call and ask for an update every once in a while. Obviously it's not something I'm super worried about. They dropped the ball, and they owned up to it. It's all good.
