I love the 22 and have not had any issues. Ordered the Lariat for my wife who decided she wants an SUV, not a truck. The 22 is an XLT so I decided to sell the XLT and keep the Lariat for me but the XLT is not getting any good offers and Vroom, Driveway and Carvana are also low so I am leaning now towards keeping the 22 as it would cost me around 7 grand to upgrade and the differences between the XLT and the Lariat aren't enough for me to spend the money. I am only driving around 6,000 miles a year now so a loaded XLT is fine.
High interest and other factors have removed many people from being able to purchase and many others have decided to not buy for those and other reasons. I have noticed that 22 XLT base and 22 XLT LUX appear to be $500-$1,000 apart on used market. I am retired and can adjust my driving needs to share the wife's vehicle except for 3k miles per year so I am starting to consider selling maverick and getting 10-12 year old something for less than $6k that I can walk away from at the next intersection. Good luck on your choice!

Have you considered driveway.com? Their offer for my late Model Tacoma was close to retail. $1.5K higher than the best offer from of all places Carmax.

driveway.com is a division of Lithia, the process done entirely online. The only person I came in contact with was the hotshot driver that picked up the truck last night.

They do RTP and ACH electronic payment depending on bank or credit union. RTPs are available within 15 mins of pickup confirmation with ACH payments available 1-3 business days.

My credit union does ACH only but the entire amount driveway.com paid was available when I checked this morning.

Paperwork required Is sent UPS overnight and driveway.com supplies one to return documents. I was uncomfortable sending a signed title prior to payment but the process went smoothly no hiccups.

Piece of advice a wise person told me when I was young:
”Friends is friends but business is business.”
Driveway.com paid me $35,335 for the vehicle. The hotshot driver transported the truck from my home in Glen Arm MD to Springfield VA. Lithia has prep costs to sell the truck plus an additional transport cost from VA to PA. It’s now for sale in Western PA for $35,500.00.

I know this forum is not about Toyota’s but my reason for posting is to provide an example of where the market for late model pre-owned vehicles is headed.

Suggest any forum member having thoughts of selling their Maverick start getting offers soon.
