adding the voltage convertor....

Morning all,
I just bought a 2023 Maverick, love it btw...
I want to know if Ford or aftermarket can add the voltage convertor to the bed area?? sure would be nice..

is it prewired and the unit just not installed?

400 watt Power inverter?
I think if you don't have it, you needs wiring and everything installed.

I don't have the bed outlet but i have the in the in cab 400 watt. I installed a storage cuby where the blank plate is in the bad and i did not see any wiring for adding anything behind the plate.

The inverter installs near the floor between the two front seats inside the center console.it will power the in cab plug and wire runs to the rear of bed will have to be added. It is a modified sine wave and some devices cannot be used if they require pure sine wave. Also has a 3.3 amp limit. A pure sine wave power supply with a lithium battery may be a better option.

I am not sure but I believe if you had the inverter in cab the 2nd installed in the bed was $110 for wire and plug .

Of course that $110 was when added at factory probably is significantly higher for later dealer add on
