Adding LED bulbs F&R.

In my 2019 Ford explorer limited it was pretty simple I just swapped LED front turn signal bulbs amber and rear turn signal bulbs Amber as well as white LED backup bulbs. I had no issues at all with hyperflashing or DTCs on the dash anything just a simple plug and place swap. All bulbs are still working fine for the last 4 years straight and 13,000 miles.

I want to replace the same bulbs on the Maverick being the front parking lights, with Amber LEDs non-switch back and rear stop turn bulbs, as well as the backup bulbs to white LEDs. What do I need to change in forscan if I need to to avoid the hyper flash or warnings on the dash?

you need to use forscan and go into the BCM and disable the light out warning feature. the hyper flash o only occurs on the dash and doesn't effect the lights outside, they flash normally just the indicator hyper flashes, so if you can live with the fast flashing inside then you wouldn't have to do anything.

Isn't that just on some bulbs like the older LASFITS? I had to do this but my assumption was that it's been addressed in their new lineup?

Depends on your trim level I think. I have a lariat and there is no fix for the hyperflash issue

No, it wasn't.

The first version hyperflashed. My second set would quit working when hot, i.e. driving in traffic. I re-installed the factory halogen rear bulbs

I have newer Lasfits Amber front turn bulbs. Plan to add the 4 rear turn/brake lights.

That will annoy me, but I can live with it as long as the physical bulbs don't hyper flash I'll be satisfied.
