Add parking sensor and cross traffic to an 2023 Lariat?

Family member purchased a used 2023 Lariat and they were under the impression that since it was a lariat it had the majority of all the bells and whistles. I was under the same impression since our Lariat that's on order has it standard. I just thought lariat in general had pretty much everything.

Is it wired for crosstraffic/back sensor and would they need (I need since I will be doing it) a bumper from a Maverick that has it and enable it via FORscan?

Different production years have different options/features. MY23 had a lot of stuff from MY22 taken off. For MY24 Ford brought back or made many formally optional items from MY22 and MY23 for the Lariat standard features. I could see it being very frustrating for a used vehicle buyer to know what they are getting.

To add backup sensors you would need to add the co-pilot 360 items, which can be done, but it's expensive and time consuming. No wiring if the package was not installed at the factory. Yes you would need to use Forscan as well.

Just got the window sticker. It shows that Ford CoPilot 360 was installed. That means it should at least have the cross traffic alert and not the parking sensors?

I'm going have to check the vehicle myself in person rather than video chat.
