I didn't see a post dedicated to discussing ford's discount programs, so wanted to see...

Who else has used, or plans to use one of the plans for your order? Did you use your code when the order was placed or upon delivery? What was your MSRP pre-code and how much did the discount save you?

Would be interesting to track if/how these discount plans are factored into order scheduling.

I did see a comment or post about someone's discount not being honored by their dealer....

Edit: I know employees and retirees have a website and resources they can use to calc their specific pricing, just wanted to provide a space for others to share their experiences with everything. Thanks!

My dealer knows I'm A/Z eligible, so when I placed my MY23 order, the sheet showed all the plan prices. You need to provide the code at time of purchase. For this vehicle, the discounts aren't all that big, compared to savings I've had in the past.

I gave the dealer my A-plan PIN /email when I placed the order. I received a similar build sheet as above. The savings on a Lariat with FX4 and 4K tow was about $1800 off MSRP. I'm not sure if that PIN is technically 'used' at this point of if it doesn't really get used until the actual purchase takes place. I know the PIN expires after 12 months. Hopefully the Maverick comes in before that happens.

I too received a similar sheet. The discount is not huge, but given the current environment of MSRP and higher, it is certainly welcome.

PIN is not needed until the vehicle comes in and you go to buy it from the dealer. The only benefit in obtaining the PIN early is to ensure you have one, but if it expires before then, you'd need a new one.

I heard back from dealer today. PIN is not needed until the vehicle is built, at which point an invoice is created. Once an invoice is created, they can apply the PIN to the invoice. No need to generate a PIN early.
