Added Baja designs s2 Sae fog lights to the Maverick today. Still need to finish up the wiring tomorrow but at least the hard part is done (not that hard) . Pretty’s stoked with how it came out. Yes I did have to cut the lower plastic bumper but that’s ok. Finally done with my lighting for the build. Full Baja designs lighting

Haha thank you!
I also cut my rear bumper in half lol

They are just plastic overlays with 3m tape and they have help up quite well!

Nicely done, looks great on there. Most of all I respect the effort, anytime my bumpers have to come off on a project it's going to be intense hah.

It’s ok! I had to remove the whole front assemble like 4 times yesterday and I got pretty quick at it.to keep aligning the cut out holes for my lights. Yes would have been easier to measure, outline and cut but then again I’m the type of person to go to instructions only after I fail at something haha.

15 screws/ bolts removed and 15 minutes and I can have the whole front bumper and grill assembly off.

Yeah, once you pull the bumper cover off for the first time, any time after that is a piece of cake. I first pulled mine to install the JJC grille light brackets. The next go 'round was for the JJC fog light brackets and SSC2 fogs.

Yeah, its not as bad as it 'looks'. I haven't done a Mav, but have done a FoST, I bet its not too far off in process.

It was handy having 2 people and a lift to do my FoST FMIC, but may be even easier on the Mav as it sits a bit higher over all, and larger--for access purposes.

Looks great! Nice job. I’m still surprised that the tremor, and even FX4, don’t come stock with fog lights.

Or option to add ! Or easier access to add fog lights !

I am about to start a fog lamp / light bar project as well,.

is there anything to watch out for, Or is it pretty straight forward? Are there any hidden fasteners, clips or things to swear over . I’m a journeyman mechanic but haven’t had a chance to look at the mounting yet

mines an FX4 so I assume it has similar skid plates

Watch Diode Dynamics' video the familiarize yourself with the fasteners and their locations. The part that gives me the most anxiety is releasing the trim around the turn signals. Just gotta give them a good, solid tug. The part that gives me the most trouble is disconnecting the wiring harness by the passenger-side marker light. Just take your time and keep track of your fasteners.

They look like the JJC LLC ones. You should be able to get them on eBay if he still has some available.

My JJC/DD SSC2 setup. I'm going to pull the bumper cover again and recess the lights into the surround more/better. They also look a little crooked to me, so I'll adjust the brackets some as well.
