I love how every time there is a new automotive company CEO they always say now this is a car guy. Lol every time, every new automotive ceo. Also most of these projects were started before he was ceo.

Well, it's up to him to follow through. The time since Oct 2020 is not a lot to have an impact on a huge company like ford. What happens in 2-3 years will be on him.

Great to know he is not swayed by pundits, but understands that ppl buy vehicles; ppl are concerned with lithium-ion battery recycling; AND keeping manufacturing INTERNAL (batteries) establishes control of what goes into the EV. What a novel idea!
(ALMOST like it he is setting up production like Tesla. And why not, Tesla production is cost efficient.)
And, ordering via Retail Order site for customers reduces waste and saves dealers money who must pay flooring for each unit in their inventory.
