Beautiful truck and glad she is finally yours. Sometimes it seems these Mavericks sure take a long time from inception (ordering) to delivery, but at least you have one home. You have a ton of catching up to do on driving your Maverick after so long a wait. You might not find time to do the mods because you are enjoying driving it so much.

First up, the perimeter alarm $130 shipped on ebay, KN1Z-19A361-A

Unplug the ODB cable, plug in the unit, turned the knob all the way clockwise. Driver door open, press and hold the brake pedal, cycle ignition off to on 5x, and on the 6th stop on the on position, truck should honk, close the door, open the door, trunk will honk again, and it's on.​

There is a grommet i found directly above the brake pedal with some bolts. The pattern is very close to fit the module but there's no way to make it work unless you make a custom bracket that fits the hole pattern of the module and the 4 mounting bolts. I dont have the time to do so, so I just bored out the upper right module hole and screwed it on, it's secure!​

I locked the truck with me inside, smacked the arm rest and the horn honked. Did the same with the b pillar and honked again. Next sunny day I try to see if a floor jack will set it off.​

I was lucky. Found a seller on ebay selling the console safe. 4 dial code, new in the sealed box. Was for sale for $300 but also had an make an offer. Mods look great. Just watching and seeing this gave me a thought, but it would get you in BIG trouble with your wife. Since you had to wait 502 days, plan to do 502 mods - 1 for each day. Haven't added up everything I have read here, but Good Lord, it seems like a thousand different mods - some things I never dreamed about and other things I have never heard of. Have fun and keep it going. You might become the mod king of Mavericks.

I read on this forum a lot before getting a Maverick. I had a laundry list of accessories and mods I had in my mind as must haves. Honestly though once I got my Maverick, very few of the “must have mods” really interested me because they didn’t bother me once I had the truck! The antenna isn’t that big, my hood doesn’t shudder or move, the tailgate isn’t heavy enough to warrant a stabilizer, stereo speakers do suck (but honestly I’m not listening to music that loud anymore anyways), etc. Facts are it’s a good truck with some quirks. Those quirks are really a matter of perception though. YMMV.

I have like 1/3 can of herculiner left. Rain tomorrow so I'm pretty much done for today. Need to still finish up the tailgate and few spots. Otherwise, bedliner and soft tailgate release are doneski. Had to replace the lower bed tie downs with better hardware.

Update on my new cubby! Still need to find out where I want to mount the led and the pushbutton, but the outlet came out FANTASTIC!

Wired in the bed cubby outlet. The gasket came out perfectly! Has just enough give for the cable to move and keep dirt out. Not done with rust proofing and blocking the left rear gap, cubby not screwed in.....yet.
