I live in lower Michigan with a 2024 XLT Hybrid. I keep track of milage when I get fuel. During the summer with temps in the upper 90's I got up to 46 mpg. We just finished a cold streak with temps in the minus teens and my milage went down to about 35 mpg.

So far, my milage is much better than I had on my 2010 Honda Fit in which I averaged about 37.7 mpg over 15 years.

I keep a spreadsheet and cold does affect mpg in gas cars for sure. Note: Keeping the spreadsheet helps me identify issues before they make grinding noises or what not. Milage goes down unexpectedly? Check engine filter, tire pressure and reevaluate.

To be honest. 35 MPG isn't too shabby. Especially given the fact that the EcoBoost probably gets around 23 under normal temperatures when driven in the same manner as the hybrid. 23 isn't to bad either. But 35-46 is just a lot better.
