Headed south to FL in the Mavarick last Sunday to pickup my bride ( who flew down one week earlier).

Now we are headed to MS then Muscle Shoals, AL then Memphis then home.

Fuel mileage is 29.4 right now... headed in the right direction. The warmer weather certainly helps.

Used 1/2 qt of oil in 3,000 miles.

This should be nothing to brag about with a brand new vehicle! Lol. report back when you get about 100,000 miles on it.

So I guess the ride/seats didn’t bother you too much. ??

That’s awesome to hear, but not unexpected. I’m at a year with 26k and have no complaints. Enjoy the Maverick and your life w the new bride!

Smoother roads and a supply of pain meds!

And last night we stopped to take a quick nap at a rest area in Illinois. My wife was struggling to get comfy in her seat when she said " let's go get our Buick"!

She is the one that wanted something new!!!!

Okay... I spoke too soon.

Mid week, while in Florida, I started getting a whiff of burning oil when stopped in traffic. Checked the oil... was down 1/2 quart.

Needed to add one quart yesterday on my way home. The burnt oil smell is stronger than before.

Accumulated about 3000 miles on our trip. Oil level started dropping at around 4000 miles on the odometer.

Today I hope to put the truck on my lift and pull the skid plate to see if I can locate the leak. Its due for an oil change but I doubt if I'll do that if the dealer needs to fix the leak.
