I bought my Tremor back in February 2025 straight off the dealership lot, not ordered, with 16 miles on it. I have put lust over 20,000 miles on it since then. I commute 25 miles five days a week. It has been off road camping from Oceano Dunes to Death Valley and many places in between. It has been on overnight road trips to Las Vegas and East Texas. After a few different iterations of how to dispersed camp in my Maverick, in the bed, w/o a trailer or sleeping on the ground, I have settled on a smaller clam shell roof top tent mounted inside the bed, under the tonneau cover. It now stays back there all year long and you would never know it was there unless I showed you.
I have had only two problems with the truck since I bought it. First, whoever washes the cars at my local dealership got a little frisky with the pressure washer and took a small chunk out of my hood decal sometime before I bought the truck. I took a couple weeks to get new decals but the replaced them for me. Second, a few weeks ago, coming home from that East Texas road trip, the telematics module quit on me. It controls the cell data connection and the GPS for the Ford Sync. Then just meant that I could not communicate with the truck with the Ford App and just the part of the advanced cruise control that automatically slowed down for curves and speed zones quit. The dealership had my truck for two back to back Tuesdays to diagnose then fix that problem.
I still have not reset Trip Odometer 2. It has now rolled over twice. However that MPG calculation works on the trip odometer bug, it still says just barely over 23 mpg.
I really really love the Tremor's off road capability. I believe it is the perfect balance of off road and daily drivability in a great small package.
I am really glad I was stubborn on wanting that CoPilot 360 because I 'ended up' with a Tremor instead of a XLT Hybrid, which I do not regret one bit, and that advanced cruise control is so awesome. I was in a rush for a vehicle and I did not have time to wait for an order of a Hybrid XLT/Lariat with the CoPilot 360. It is not perfect, that is why they put the Co in CoPilot. It's biggest quirks are occasionally picking up the California 'Truck Speed Limit 55' signs and normal speed limit signs and slowing down on the interstate. Also, I couple times on that Texas trip, it would try to speed back up to the rural speed limit while still inside the town.
Here's my fun in the mud video. We have gotten a lot of rain over the last few days here in Central California. I knew of this little triangle lot out in the country near the river where the clay out there in extremely slick and sticky. I get to this spot only to see that someone has disked it to take care of weeds or something. I could see that someone had recently tried it out and did not venture into the middle. I was there to make this silly video and I was not going to chicken out now. I couple times, it almost came to a stop but it kept on going and made it around a few times and got out. It was a blast
