I'm a new Maverick owner and really like my new vehicle. I do miss the older style dash with the speedometer and tach looking more like an analog gauge. It seems like last year's model had a much nicer dash presentation. Are there any software upgrades available to update/change the default dash configuration on a 2025 Maverick? I really like a digital speedometer available and would use it most of the time, but having the standard gauges available would be a big plus.

The speedo and tack prior to 2025 were analog (not looked like).. On the 2024 Lariat the center (between the two) are digital. I think it is stupid for the speed to show up twice, once on the right side analog and digital numbers in the middle. What I hate is not being able to adjust the light intensity on the analog gauges.... I cannot find a way to lower the light intensity on the analog dash of the 2024 Lariat and I find them too bright. When you lower the intensity thru the + & - buttone, only the digital are lowered and if you lower it too much, the digital pieced above the center console just about goes out. Crazy.. Sorry for the rant. lol

I actually like the digital, but I am so used to having the analog that I feel like it would be nicer to have them there..... My wife's subaru (2018 outback) has analog gauges and a digital speedometer between them and I like that. I am getting used to not having the analog gauges, but thought it would be a nice selectable option. Many digital dashes have that option. thanks for your input!

I came from a 2020 Escape over to the 2024 Mav. Lariat. It's not like they had to reinvent the wheel, they already had a full digital dash it the Escape (which the Mav is loosely based on), why not put that dash in the Mav...??? Instead they went an redesigned the dash for the Mav. in 2022.

One of my biggest pet peeves is all that display area and no 6 guage dash like an F150 too. What a waste! Also, not retaining display selections across ignition cycles. Automotive engineering 101 FAIL!!!

I think the gas gage is a joke on my '25. It only moves in 1/8 increments (F to 7/8 to 3/4 to 5/8 to 1/2, etc) and not gradually nor very accurately. Temp gage seems similar but not sure. I agree there is lots of wasted space. I'm sure it was a trade off for lower cost.

Isn’t there a setting on the dash that does the older looking dash on the 2025 tremor. I remember seeing it or I’ve smoked too much

Does your Tremor have the Bar Graph Tach in it like my 2025 XLT AWD with the 2.0 EB? Mine has the Digital Speedometer.

mine does have the tach setting (just a bar graph) and the alternate view for the speedometer is a blue circle that is a type of bar graph that increases with size with speed.... neither of them has anything resembling the analog gauges or digital version of that..... many other vehicles have a setting that closely resembles an analog display... it wasn't a show stopper, but something that I would have enjoyed and I am surprised that many others aren't asking for it.
