My first week build finally arrived and I picked it up today.
Here is a pic from yesterday. Snowy today, so wasn’t clean by the time I got home.

My ‘22 had the full resonator, this has the newer non-resonator ‘patch’ in the pipe. There is a definite difference in the sound level; this louder and has some drone to it. An unexpected thing to get used to.

Is it hybrid
My Maverick status shows delivered on the 14th.. It went up on my dealership website as in stock available on the 15th (just a computer generated image). They have yet to contact me saying it’s in.

That seems a bit... unprofessional.

Hood deflector, mud flaps and tailgate assist. I know most on this sight could do it themselves, but I dont want to try. I may mess things up. I will be adding my tailgate letters when the weather warms up. I've done that before and is easy.
I plan on the latter two as well, plus some kind of tailgate lettering. I'm also planning on the underbody shield, a modified tie-down on the tailgate, and some kind of tonneau cover. I hope to install them all myself, but we'll see how that goes. It's ironic that after we sat in the same far back corner of the lot at the plant waiting to ship, you've got yours and mine looks to be sitting in the rail yard for over a month waiting to be trucked 55 miles. Dealer says it is the shipping company, not Ford, who is causing the delay, but at the end of the day, Ford HIRED the shipping company so I think they still take some of the blame. I would have liked to have had the three day weekend to do all my installing.

EDIT: I spoke two soon, my tracker just updated to say delivered as of 1/17/2025. Dealer hasn't said a peep yet, but they just opened. UPDATE: Dealer confirmed truck arrival. Scheduled delivery for tomorrow 1/18/25.

I was checking my dealers website and my truck wasn't listed, just the 2 that were on the website for a long time. I guess it's a dealer choice to put up customer's trucks in transit.

Oh WOW! Good for you! I was going to comments about how maybe your truck is a bit bashfull and wasn't ready to venture out of the yard, but the last sentence changed all that. I'm driving mine home Wednesday.

Congrats wish I would get a random call but my brothers 24 sat in the same rail yard for two months so I am not counting on it.

Yes I just had to capture it as it was shipped covered in desert dust. I also can’t wait to see it cleaned up and in my carport.

I’m in the club officially since Saturday.
I see you went from Ecoboost to Ecoboost, like I did. I’d like to your take on the exhaust sound difference, if you hear any, between the two.

There is a definite difference between the two. The 2025 exhaust is a touch louder than the 2022. I feel the engine is quieter on the 2025 than the 2022 though.

I would agree about the engine itself. My ‘22 was early enough that it had the full resonator, so not sure if is the exhaust difference or just how the ‘25 is. So far, not a fan of that.
