I ordered my 25 XLT in August and it arrived a Granger Ford 30 Jan. I grew up in Des Moines, and my Mom still lives here, so I flew out on the 5th, and Rick, from Granger picked me up at the airport. I’m going to start heading back to Vegas on the 15th, or earlier, depending on the weather.

I did what I usually do, and had mods prepositioned. I started with Mabett floor mats. It came with a bed mat, that I’ll be using for the time being. The first major mod was taking it to Line-X for color matched bed liner and undercoating. They did a great job of matching the Desert Sand. I like the job they did on the undercoating. I have ordered Diode Dynamics fog lights that won’t arrive until May. I will have Line-X in Las Vegas do the install.

The next project was Maxzina bed rails and molle rack against the cab. It was very easy to install. I like the bed rails for sure. I like the molle rack, but we will see how useful it may be.

Today, I replaced the wheels and tires at the local Discount Tire near Moms house. I went with Korupt Bronze 17 inch wheels, with black lug nuts. The tires I chose were Cooper Road and Trail 235/65/R17. I like how the wheels look and the tires fit in the wells with no issues. I have a set of Mabett mud flaps and fender flares back in Vegas. I’m going to color match the fender flares. I think with these tires the flares won’t look too dumb. I’ll tape them up and see. I have the OEM wheels and tires on Marketplace here in DSM. If they don’t sell, I’ll take them to Vegas and try there.

I installed both of them in less than 5 minutes. The plugs were already attached to the chargers, and the truck wiring was attached to the covers.

This is meant for water bottles, but I am using it for my fire extinguisher. On my 22, it rattled around quite a bit. This device stops that. It works great. I did have to trim a bit from the left bottom, so I could make it match up to the mold lines on the door panel.

If I were to do it again, I think I would cut the whole thing in half. I don’t think it requires that much surface area to hold the bottle securely.

Decided to tart the tailgate up a bit.

Dee Zee tailgate damper, replacement tie down hooks, and Maverick Innovations Tailgate Cable Guide.

The damper was an easy install. The only fiddly part was holding the tailgate plate out so as not to turn the T-nut. I put the replacement tie-downs on both sides of the tailgate. I like the cable guide also.

Installed the Maxina under hood insulation pad. Very easy install. I had heard of some screws being too long, so I installed slowly, watching for hood deformation. I ran them all the way to the bottom with no defects noted.

I got some 3M Diamond Reflective tape to cover the trim pieces with.

I went all in on the molle panels. The upgraded panels for the 25 came, and they fit with the front of bed molle panel perfectly. I have the Maxina bed rails also.

What do you use the side molle panles for? Don't know wether I need them or not.
