2025 Default Drive Mode

When this forum was first started (in the olden days), the fact that drivers could not change the default drive mode setting was a huge topic. It was such an
issue that someone invented and sold a device (for about $60) allowing drivers to set their own preferred default drive mode. When
the new '25 models came out I don't think I've ever seen this issue discussed. Do the '25 models now allow drivers to set their own default modes?

No. It would be a really nice feature though.

They pop up and ask “Do you want to return to … mode” when you start the car next time.
Then you have to press “Up” and then “OK” to accept.

This is two button presses and if your steering wheel is rotated it is very difficult to remember which way is up. Meanwhile just pressing the Mode button is way easier and the same or fewer button presses!

The question pop up also has a timer and then goes away.

Basically it has a stressful bad UI instead of just letting you change the default. Very annoying.
