2024 Tremor custom order wait time

I just ordered my Tremor December 6th ,how long a did it take you to get an order number and vin number?

Just ordered a 2024 Tremor XLT Lux on 11/11/23. I was curious about other peoples wait times, was told by my dealer 4-6 months, but I know from lurking on this forum that can vary wildly. Any info would be appreciated, even if you only just got a build date.

i have the exact same one ordered in shadow black, im not sure how long it will take for the vin but i can tell you that mine started building on November 29. I just talked to the ford chat agent and they said the estimated build completion date is January 9. My dealer is telling me the truck should be here by January 1 so I’m not sure who has the most updated information. anything and everything your dealer or ford direct tells you should be taken with a very tiny grain of salt. hopefully you get it is a timely manner but i definitely wouldn't be too optimistic about receiving it early. expect the worst and hope for the best

Tremor twins! I've got Shadow black too. I did get my VIN late last month and a build date of 1/8 so I expect to see mine anytime now from late January to late February.

Hey there, I ordered on 11/11 and got my order number immediately on my paperwork. Then I got my VIN on 11/30. I think I was pretty lucky because Ford just happened to be scheduling out two months of production right after my order. I now have a build date of the week of 1/8. Process has been very fast so far. I think Tremor's are highest priority for Ford. Keep an eye on new scheduling dates or fingers crossed you get a cleanup build date.

Not sure how quick I got my vin, but I got my tremor in roughly 2 months. Ordered early October and got it December 1st. That was with the mudflaps, SIBL, trifold hard cover and floor mats.

Thanks. Only option pkg I added was Tremor pkg. Did you add anything else to yours? My ‘22 took 11 months ans I had to delete lariat lux pkg. crazy

Oh! I have an XLT tremor with lux but it is 2024, I’m assuming yours is also 2024 right? If so then the lariat comes with the lux package and I don’t think you can remove it. Very strange

Also I know mine is built already, my dealer said he can see that it’s built but ford is saying it won’t be finished production until January 9

Yes 2024. I know lux comes with Lariat pkg now. Was an option on my ‘22. Shortage of chips so had to delete pkg.
