first post - just turned 10,000 miles on my Maverick. absolutely love owning and driving this truck! at 71 I was looking for a respectable, high mileage pickup that may just be my last vehicle on this orb. as much as I love it, there are a few characteristics I grumble about. first is the odd default to "normal" mode when starting up. remembering to stab the mode button four times every time to get to "eco" is annoying at best. every other vehicle I've driven with mode options defaults to the last used mode except the maverick. second are the random and very annoying double horn beeps that I can't figure out why they happen. third is a little petty but I want to use both "auto" and "recirc" when on a-c - one cancels the other. also petty, but I would like to see more data on mileage like my old Prius where you have a graph by minute for prior 15 minutes or so or any rolling mileage avg to supplement instantaneous mpg. being a retired engineer I like more data. I've added a tailgate piston to help handle the opening of that, a 2amp trickle battery charger to stop the low battery Fordpass notices, several storage inserts that look and work nicely. but it may just be the best vehicle I've owned, maybe except for my '55 thunderbird!
