2022 XLT Order

There was a email from Ford with an “update” to those customers who are still unscheduled……was posted on this forum by a member, I too remember it but can’t find the damn thing! Anybody have that email????

yeah, that was a snapshot in time months ago update and not relevant to current situation to close out model year. There is a much more current update expected end of July or 1st of August that will give those of us still unscheduled a firm idea of where we stand for getting built as MY2022.

Update. I bailed. Got a good deal on a 21 maverick with 10k miles. It is a lariat vice XLT but the price difference was worth it.

I ordered my limited options XLT in Jan 2022. I have heard nothing from Ford, no email etc. The dealer states that they confirmed the order is being processed and I will hear something as soon as there is actually a build date. Trying to read through the thousands of posts, seems like 10 months is to be expected but I also read not to expect delivery until 2023. Is that about right or am I off base?

I was told 3 weeks ago my scheduled build date was 6-21-22 and the tracking site says "in production" and there's a link to the window sticker with vin. Ordered on 11/17/22 an eb, 4k, fx4, rear man. slider window, all weather mats, sunroof and full sized spare. Nothing in my order was reportedly constrained according to Ford marketing.

Yup, we're mushrooms. I hear a lot of stuff and put a lot of it down to the rumor department because we just don't know. I ordered mid October. So, I'm hoping before winter for me. I was hoping on heated seats for LAST winter.
I would say your 10 months, based on other deliveries, is in the ballpark. If you don't mind paying over MSRP you might check around at dealers for cancellations. You might luck out and not get jammed too much.
