Welcome! Your mileage sounds average for a hybrid.
I got slightly over 600 miles on the first tank. I've never had a tank that averaged below 40 mpg. Worst trip was 31 MPG best trip was 71 MPG. Both trips between 5 and 10 mi in length. That doesn't sound like much, but I do a lot of short trips to town and back.

A/C causes a very slight dip in mileage. Running the heater on short trips seems to be the worst for hits on MPG though. It requires running the gasoline engine to produce heat, but the electric A/C does not. The A/C drains the HV battery slightly faster though, hence the slight drop in mileage.

I have about 800 miles on my 2024 hybrid. I’m not patient enough to wait for a whole tank of gas to run through so I’ve been filling up at the half tank level.

My trips are also 5 to 10 miles maybe three or four times a week and 1 50 mile trip one day a week. The longer trip gets the best mileage at about 50 MPG. I don’t drive very much and it’s taken me too months to accumulate 800 miles.😊

My haft tank fill ups have given hand calculated mileage 49, 47, and 44 MPG.

I really like this XL. It is virtually the same size inside as the 2006 Colorado that . I retired when I bought it. Interior quality of the XL is as good or better as that in the Colorado.

It is very nice to go from an average of 17.5 mpg to over 45 mpg and near 50 MPG on some tripsā—šŸ‘šŸ˜
