I've really enjoyed this vehicle. Although it will never be confused as a hardcore off road vehicle, Its done just fine on forest roads, desert roads, and mountain passes. I do a lot of exploring in the backcountry, so this vehicle has been great for me. You'd be surprised what a good set of all terrain tires will do for ya, as well as decent driving skills. If roads look a bit too crazy ahead, or too soft, I find a place to park and hike a few additional miles to get to my spots. The 8.8 inches of ground clearance has been enough. So through the first 1k miles, I've averaged 39.8 miles, hand calculated. The small size of this truck, has been great for avoiding the desert pinstriping that my ram was covered in. Still getting used to all the sounds of the hybrid, and time will tell how durable it will be, but so far Im pretty happy.
