I had a 1978 Courier back in the day, it was a good little Truck. Mine had the 1.8 Mazda engine. Realistically the truck was a Mazda with a Ford badge. I recall that it had well over 100,000 miles when I traded it for a Ford Escort wagon that was nothing but trouble.

I had a 1974 Courier 4 speed and ran the crap out of it. 2 trips to Alberta and 1 to Yellowstone from NW Ohio. Could have used an O/D as she really screamed at 75 mph.

My grandad had (iirc) a ‘74 in white. Nice little truck. Replaced a baby blue Ranchero. It’s a shame but after he died it sat and rusted in the driveway.
