We completed a 1000 mile roundtrip to Toronto. The Maverick was good going around the mountains and cruising through those small towns in upstate NY. We made it home safely.
I calculated the mileage from my previous Silver Mav (10300) that I used as a daily driver; my current VB Mav (4700) that I have only used for longer trips and I wanted more things that are not options for a Maverick (manual and more power). I do not feel excited about driving it. It does everything fine, but I lost that loving feeling:
Got a quote for my 2022 Mav/AWD FX4 from Carvana ($32500) on Monday, and used that amount to get $34000 trade in from Subaru. They added $ for the installed OEM rail system, hard rolling cover, rear safe, and tailgait assist.
Purchased a 2022 WRX Premium 6 manual.
This is fun driving again with both vehicles, and my Mini Cooper S manual 6 speed is my daily driver. The Mav is a nice truck, and if they decide to do a performance Maverick ST, I will place another order and wait another 8 months
I am still rooting for EVERYONE to get their orders ASAP.
