There are a LOT of new vehicles that get quite a bit of paint work done to them before delivery. We had a company policy that ANY work done to the car was documented and customer had to sign off on it. Some were very minor touch ups, some were expensive. Ford does have limits on what parts can be fixed or replaced ( absolutely no roof replacement for instance ) but not so much a money value.
I have never seen a sticker like this. That is was held for 3 months is ominous. I would have to have facts from Ford about this before paying for it.

So update to the sticker, finally got in touch with actual Ford and they said no damage was done to the vehicle and it can be released. I requested a full inspection on the vehicle to make sure there was no damage. Still can't get the vehicle since there is a recall on it.

Glad you were able to get in touch with them. Any explanation for that document that was taped to the window? You'll have the full warranty on it and if it goes to crap you can use the lemon law especially with the picture that you have. Yeah these recalls are crazy and yet they don't have the darn parts.
