13 months & 12 days later, I took delivery!

Y’all, it finally happened! When I ordered my Hybrid First Edition on Sep 13 2021, the sales rep said “it’ll likely be here at the end of November.” I was cautiously optimistic it’d be here before Christmas. That changed to New Years. Then Valentine’s. Then Easter. When I got my VIN in April, I was hopeful I’d get it Memorial Day. Then 4th of July. Maybe Labor Day? You get the picture.

But, the day finally came only 407 days later and she’s a beauty!

The sale itself was not perfect - North County Ford in Vista, CA (Oscar - the sales rep & George - the manager) tried to not honor price protection, saying only the 0% interest rate was in the system BUT thanks to you all, I came armed with all the info and even had the Ford notice to show them.

No hard sell on all the extras because by then, they knew I had a firm line and knew my stuff. I always forget how long the process takes, though. I was ready to be done and out the door long before it was over.

But, I’m very happy with her and even got the tailgate assist installed last night as my first mod.

Picked mine up yesterday, this morning put first layer of ceramic coat on it, tomorrow the second coat, then add all the accessories I already bought for it!
